Burano and Torcello: The colorful houses make for the perfect background for these romantic engagement photos. Located in Venice, Italy, these two islands are known for their colorful architecture, which is reflected in the quaint townhomes and buildings of Burano Island. Here, you can find beautiful pastel colors that will make your photos pop!

Torcello Island is a little quieter than other parts of Venice but still has plenty to offer photographers looking for something different. It's home to several churches and monasteries with stunning architecture that makes it a great place to get married or hold an engagement photo shoot.

Jonathan organized this beautiful wedding proposal for his girlfriend and future spouse Kasia in the islands of Burano and Torcello. The colorful houses make for the perfect background for these romantic engagement photos.

The proposal was organized by Jonathan, who managed to plan everything smoothly, so that his girlfriend would not suspect anything special. The couple decided to go on a trip to Italy together, where they traveled by plane and made a stopover in Venice before continuing on their way to Burano Island by boat.

Burano and Torcello, the perfect setting for your romantic engagement photos. Located in Venice, Italy, these two islands are filled with stunning architecture which reflects everything you love about Italy. Immerse yourself in the colorful pastel façades of Burano as you explore the quaint town’s cobbled streets. Alternatively, visit Torcello Island, a quieter part of Venice that offers photographers plenty to capture. The island is home to several churches and monasteries with stunning architecture, making it a remarkable place to get married or hold an engagement photo shoot.

Kasia and Jonathan are a lovely couple from Singapore. I met Jonathan in Padova, where he is currently studying and we managed to plan the proposal photoshoot in Burano for his girlfriend Kasia.

After the proposal in Torcello, we hopped on a boat to go back to Burano and finish our photoshoot there.

We had an amazing time exploring the island, eating pasta, and capturing the beauty of this tiny town.

Why You should consider proposing to your girlfriend on your trip to Italy?

First of all, Italy is one of the most romantic countries in the world—and that's not just because of the food. It's also because of the atmosphere and culture. The people are warm and friendly, there's always something to do, and there are tons of things to see and do (especially if you're into art). There are so many beautiful places in Italy that you can visit with your girlfriend, like Venice or Florence.

If you want to propose during your trip to Italy, you don't have to worry about finding an interesting spot for it—there are plenty!

You could take her on a romantic walk through a beautiful garden or park; or maybe get some drinks at an outdoor cafe while overlooking one of the many famous landmarks in Rome; or take her on an adventure through Rome by bike; or even go skydiving together over Rome! There are so many options when it comes to proposing in Italy.

In addition to its beauty and romantic atmosphere, Italy is also known for being very progressive when it comes to marriage equality rights—so no matter who you love (or who loves you).

Santorini, Greece Wedding and Portrait Photographer

Santorini Wedding and Portrait Photographer

Santorini is a top wedding destination.

It's an island infused with rich history and culture, with stunningly beautiful scenery.

Nestled on the southern edge of the Cyclades archipelago, it's known for its white-washed buildings and ancient architecture, including the famous volcanic crater at the center of town. If you're looking to get married in a truly unforgettable location, then Santorini is definitely worth considering.

How to get to Santorini and where is it located?

Santorini is located about 100 kilometers (62 mi) south of mainland Greece, in the southern Aegean Sea between mainland Greece and Crete. It has an area of approximately 73 square kilometers (28 sq mi) with a population of 21,936 inhabitants (census 2011), making it the 20th largest island in Greece. The municipality of Santorini includes the inhabited islands of Santorini and Therasia as well as uninhabited islands such as Palaia Kameni, Aspronisi, Asklepieio, and Christiana. Santorini was separated from Greece by tectonic movements that occurred during the Miocene period; it was connected to mainland Greece by a land bridge until about 12,000 years ago.

Santorini has few beaches but many caves to explore. In addition, there are several interesting churches that can be visited during your stay on this unique island

Santorini is a small island located in Greece. The island lies between the islands of Crete and Mykonos.

You can get to Santorini via air and boat.

Air

There are two airports on the island: Santorini Airport (JTR) and Iraklio Airport (HER). The former is located on the north side of the island and is used for both international and domestic flights; the latter is located on the south side of the island and only used for domestic flights.

Boat

Ferries depart from Piraeus (Athens), Heraklion (Crete), and other cities in Greece to Santorini's port of Athinios. There are also ferries that leave from other islands in Greece to Santorini's ports. You can also take a high-speed catamaran ferry between Athens, Mykonos, Paros/Naxos, Amorgos/Santorini or any combination thereof.

Santorini is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The white-washed buildings and blue domes are breathtaking, and it's easy to see why so many people choose this as their wedding destination! But choosing a photographer is just as important as picking out a dress or deciding where to get married. Your photographer will capture your big day for years to come—and you want those photos to be perfect!

I am an experienced wedding photographer who has photographed lots of weddings all over Europe over the past 5 years. I've been published in magazines around the world.

Digital and Analog Film Photography available

You're getting married, and you've decided to have your portraits taken on film. Congratulations! You are in for a treat.

This is the best way to preserve your wedding memories—and it's a wonderful way to reflect on the day itself. You can choose to have your portraits taken on digital or analog film, depending on your budget and how much you want to invest in your wedding photos.

If you're looking for a more affordable option, digital photography is definitely an option. It's less expensive than analog photography, and the results will be similarly high-quality, but they won't last as long or be as timeless as analog photography.

If you want something that will last forever—and make a statement about how much you value quality over quantity—then analog photography is the right choice for you. I'll take beautiful film shots of both of you and your guests, and then we'll develop them into gorgeous scans that will be treasured forever by generations of people who love you both!

Santorini is a magical place to get married. I offer all-inclusive photography packages ranging from elopement wedding packages to larger wedding parties of up to 100 people. Let's plan your destination ceremony and elopement in Santorini!

Whether you're planning a vacation or a honeymoon in Santorini, having your own personal photographer is the best way to ensure that all of those special moments are captured. You want to be able to look back on your trip and remember every detail, but it's easy for things like the sun setting over the water or the way your partner's eyes sparkle when they see you coming up on the beach to get lost in the shuffle.

It can also be difficult to enjoy yourself when you're constantly worrying about getting a good photo—how do we look? Are we facing the right direction? Is my hair out of place?—and instead of being present in the moment, you're worrying about whether or not this is going to be a good shot. A professional photographer will take care of all those details for you so that you can focus on enjoying yourself with whomever you came herewith.

As a photographer, I have been trained in many different styles and techniques so that I can capture whatever kind of moments best suit your needs: whether it's just one wedding day or an entire family vacation!

I am Stefano, a wedding photographer based in Europe. I have been traveling around the world for over five years now, capturing weddings and elopements in Venice, Copenhagen, Switzerland, and Paris—you name it. And now I can add Santorini to that list! My clients rave about how much they love their photos and how easy it was working with me. And what's even better is that all my clients get an incredible deal on their packages because of my special relationship with this island.

Cheers!!
